well, the dakine cover would be an early birthday present, so its free for me. and the parents think that the carpet allows the bikes to "scratch" the tailgate. so to shut them up, i just told them about this and they see that this is a more secure, and thicker way material to carry the bikes around. and besides, its pretty stylish looking.
